3D Artists & Creative Roles

No Shortcuts Studio is currently expanding its team. We are looking for talented and motivated individuals to join the development of a tactical multiplayer FPS built with Unreal Engine 5, focused on strategy, communication, and team coordination. Open Positions We are actively recruiting for the following roles: - 3D Environment Artists: vegetation, terrain, rocks, natural landscapes - 3D Prop Artists: hard surface, military equipment, interior assets - 3D Weapon Artists: realistic firearms, attachments, gear - 3D Character Artists: operators, player models - Character Riggers: humanoid rigging, skinning, game-ready setups - Concept Artists: characters, props, environments - Animators: character and weapon animations - Composer / Sound Designers: music, SFX, ambiance - Lead Environment Artist: supervision of environment production and pipeline - Lead Character Artist: oversight of character creation from concept to final asset About the Studio No Shortcuts Studio is an independent game development studio dedicated to creating high-quality experiences without compromise. We are currently working on our first project, a tactical multiplayer FPS developed in Unreal Engine 5, where precision, immersion, and teamwork are central to the gameplay experience. Our team is international, fully remote, and driven by a shared passion for game development. Role Overview We are seeking 3D artists and creative profiles of all levels, including students, juniors, and experienced professionals. Responsibilities include: - Creating detailed, optimized assets for in-game use - Working on texturing, lighting, and visual quality - Collaborating with the team to ensure artistic consistency - Contributing to the improvement of production workflows Requirements - Experience with Blender or equivalent 3D software - Knowledge of texturing and lighting techniques - For rigging roles, understanding of rigging and skinning workflows - Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 is a plus - Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment Important Information These are unpaid, voluntary positions within an early-stage independent studio. All team members contribute on a passion-driven basis. A revenue-sharing model is planned upon release of the game. Participants are free to include their work in their professional portfolio.
